The David Troutman Foundation
Mission Statement
Those of you that knew Dave know how passionate he was about developing young athletes into young adults through coaching various sports. Because of that, our mission is to raise and donate money to give opportunities to young athletes and help aid development, on and off the field, in youth sports communities around Louisville. We will also be using a portion of these funds to help aid research and develop cures for rare forms of cancer, such as Leptomeningeal Disease, which he battled.

What we've done
Closing out 2024, we have been operating for a little over six months. In that short time we were able to raise over $30,000. We made significant donations to The Moffitt Cancer Institue in Tampa, FL who is working to develop treatments and a potential cure for Leptomeningeal Disease. We also are now working with the Louisville Baseball Club to offer scholarships for their baseball teams to continue our fathers mission to develop young athletes into young adults!
